While Bitcoin didn’t technically begin trading until January 2009, this day marks its birth.
On this day the mysterious inventor named Satoshi Nakamoto posted his infamous paper.
It was titled “Bitcoin – A Peer to Peer Electronic Cash System.”
The following year, programmer Hal Finney received the very first Bitcoin transaction.
He accepted 10 Bitcoins from Satoshi Nakamoto. And Bitcoin was off to the races!
