The Pune police have arrested activist and lawyer Sudha Bhardwaj from Haryana’s Faridabad on Saturday, after she was put under house arrest. Her bail plea was rejected by the Pune Court yesterday. Earlier today, two other accused activists Vernon Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira were produced in court after their house arrest ended on Friday. Five accused were arrested for their alleged involvement in the Bhima Koregaon violence during the 200th anniversary of the Bhima Koregaon battle.
