Prithvi Shaw became the 15th Indian batsmen to make a hundred on debut when he achieved the three-figure mark against the West Indies on the first day of the first Test at Rajkot on Thursday (October 14).The 18-year-old supremely talented batsman grabbed the opportunity with open hands and cracked a sublime ton. The right-handed batsman opened his account with a backfoot punch oozed class and timing with his range of shots. Shaw played his trademark aggressive brand of cricket and played with a lot of maturity all through his innings. It hardly felt that the teenager was playing his first international game.
