Study Says US Air Travelers Are Happier
Than Ever Global marketing firm J.D. Power says
overall traveler satisfaction in the U.S. has climbed to a score of 761. The 761 score is an
all-time high for
the survey. The findings are from J.D. Power’s 2018 North America Airport Satisfaction Study. The score is up 12 points
from last year
and 30 in 2016. J.D. Power says satisfaction is mainly driven by improvements in security, food, beverage and retail. In terms of the biggest airport hubs,
Las Vegas' McCarran Airport and
Orlando International tied for the best rating. At the other end of the spectrum,
New York’s LaGuardia Airport was the
lowest rated. Its neighbor, Newark Airport in New Jersey, ranked second-to-lowest.
