Prithvi Shaw, Test debutant of India hit his maiden test hundred against West Indies at Rajkot. Prithvi shaw completed his hundred on just 99 balls, third fastest in terms of test debut. He became seventh and second youngest Indian player to his test century.

टेस्ट क्रिकेट में शतक लगाने वाले पृथ्वी शॉ भारत के दूसरे कम उम्र के बल्लेबाज बने. जबकि दुनिया के सातवें ऐसे खिलाड़ी बने हैं. जिन्होंने सबसे कम उम्र में शतक जड़ा है. बता दें, भारत के लिए सबसे कम उम्र में टेस्ट शतक लगाने का रिकॉर्ड सचिन तेंदुलकर के नाम है. पृथ्वी डेब्यू टेस्ट में सबसे तेज शतक लगाने के मामले में तीसरे स्थान पर हैं. पृथ्वी ने ये कारनामा 99 गेंदों पर किया है. टेस्ट क्रिकेट में सबसे तेज डेब्यू शतक लगाने का रिकॉर्ड शिखर धवन के नाम है. जिन्होंने महज 85 गेंदों का सहारा लिया था.
