I've waited 32 years for this day: US comedian Bill Cosby accuser

Accusers of Bill Cosby joined together to applaud his sentence Tuesday of three to 10 years behind bars for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his gated estate. Chelan Lasha, who claims Cosby drugged and molested her when she was 17, said she "waited 32 years for this day, hoping her nightmares will go away." Though Lasha says she will "find peace of mind" with Cosby in prison, she asks why he "should he receive mercy just because he is 81?" Another accuser, Lise-Lotte Lublin, said she hopes Cosby will show that he has "the human capacity to feel remorse and regret" his actions. Sunni Welles says she suffers PTSD from Cosby's assaults decades ago when she was only 17 years old and he was a family friend. Welles says she "cannot forgive" the comedian. "You deserve to feel in every moment for the rest of your life what the 63 of us women felt. And that so many still feel now in our meeting, knowing and trusting in you, the predetor and serial rapist that you are, always have been and always will be. You disgust me in every way," she read in a statement to Cosby.
