Twister spotted over the river Thames in London

A small twister was spotted over the Thames in Surbiton, south-west London.
The clip filmed on September 2 shows a whirlwind sweeping across the river and then fading out.
Matt Taylor and his girlfriend saw the bizarre weather event while having an ice-cream by the river bank. “We were relaxing when a breeze wafted across us we both commented how nice that was until seconds later we were enveloped in a huge gust of wind,'' he said.
“As we sat up to remove the various leaves and debris off us we saw what had just blown over us. It was one of the most amazing and unexpected things we'd ever seen.”
