Rare beluga whale spotted swimming in the River Thames

This was the astonishing moment a white Beluga Whale was filmed swimming in the River Thames near Gravesend in Kent today (September 26).
In the clip filmed near Tilbury the beluga whale can be seen surfacing on more than one occasion as ships go past in the background.
In a spate of rare sightings, the Beluga has been spotted in the Kent area yesterday and today while experts fear for its health as it is in danger of eating plastic bags which the animal could mistake for plastic bags.
The Beluga Whale is more commonly found in the Arctic Ocean.
