Squidnice - Everywhere I Go (Documentary)

Squidnice knows the importance of staying true to where he comes from. In the span of his nascent two-year career, the Staten Islander has had a taste of musical success — including the Frank Ocean-cosigned earworm "Trap By My Lonely" — and a couple of high profile modeling gigs for brands including Hood By Air and Carrots. But Port Richmond — or "savage island" as he calls it — will always be home to him.

In Everywhere I Go, a new short film by The FADER, the 20-year-old rapper describes what every Staten Islander knows to be true — what it means to be so close to the biggest city in the world, but feeling completely trapped in your little borough. "I needed to venture out," he says. It's a universal feeling that people way beyond the boarders of New York City can relate to.
Watch the video above and keep an eye out for Squidnice's mixtape The Craccen.
