Cardi B Talks "Lick" With Zack Fox — FADER FORT 2017

Cardi B was scheduled to perform at The FADER FORT in Austin on Thursday evening. After a flight delay, her full set was rescheduled, but she came through on Thursday anyway and rapped her hit single "Lick" in the DJ booth with Jxmmi from Rae Sremmurd. The single features Offset, the Migos rapper who Cardi has been rumored to be dating.

When asked about what it's like to go out with a guy from the A, she said, "I'm not saying I'm dating an Atlanta guy." She declined to comment on whether or not the two were a couple.

Cardi explained that the track she made with her friendly collaborator is inspired by her recent success. "Lick" is about the moment "when you catch a big come up or when you make a big check. When you just make something that weren't expecting to do, but it goes to your benefit. And that's what happened with my life — I caught a lick," she said.
