Parts of the coastal Carolinas remain flooded following the departure of Hurricane Florence, which caused at least 37 storm-related deaths.

This video, filmed near Carbonton Bridge in Chatham County, North Carolina on September 17, shows the flooded situation.

According to a September 19 statement on the Chatham County news bulletin, the southern part of the county continues to flood, causing the closure of several roads.

Other counties are also preparing for additional flooding as river levels continue to rise.

During a visit to North and South Carolina on September 19, Presidnt Trump vowed to send "a lot of money to the area", acknowledging the flood risks and that the federal government would ensure that "there will be nothing left undone".
