Trump Praises North Korea's Announcement On Nuclear Program: 'Very Exciting!'

President Trump on Tuesday praised North Korea's recent announcement.

President Trump took to Twitter Tuesday night and praised steps announced by North Korea to curb its nuclear program.
"[North Korean leader] Kim Jong Un has agreed to allow Nuclear inspections, subject to final negotiations, and to permanently dismantle a test site and launch pad in the presence of international experts," Trump wrote.
"In the meantime there will be no Rocket or Nuclear testing. Hero remains to continue being returned home to the United States. Also, North and South Korea will file a joint bid to host the 2032 Olympics. Very exciting!" Trump added.
The announcement came during the summit between Kim and South Korean President Moon Jae-in in Pyongyang.
However, the Guardian reports that some analysts see this development as a "very small step forward" and are "disappointed at the lack of progress" on denuclearization.
