Eliud Kipchoge Breaks Marathon World Record

According to Deadspin.com, Eliud Kipchoge has won the Berlin Marathon with a new world record time. Kipchoge ran the marathon in 2:01:39 which is 78 seconds faster than Dennis Kimetto’s previous record mark. Eliud Kipchoge is a 33 year old Kenyan long distance runner and the 2016 Olympic marathon gold medalist. After breaking the world record today the proud runner said, "I lack words to describe this day."
