East Asia braces for Super Typhoon Mangkhut

People in the northern Philippines, Hong Kong and China’s Guangdong province are preparing for the worst as Super Typhoon Mangkhut advances westward. Hundreds of thousands have been evacuated from the island of Luzon as the storm is forecast to bring heavy rains and trigger landslides and flash floods.
