Former Jammu & Kashmir DGP SP Vaid has reacted to his sudden transfer by the state government. “I am grateful that I got a chance to serve my people. I am going with a lot of good feelings” said Vaid. He added that his only concern is that the unnecessary loss of life in the Valley must end. SP Vaid was removed from his post and appointed transport commissioner by the state government late Thursday. Dilbag Singh, currently director general, prisons, has been appointed acting DGP.
