Riding a really tall bike

If you hang around a lot of cyclists, it’s only a matter of time before you encounter some…creations. Mutant bikes, frankenstein bikes. Bikes with extra chromosomes. Here’s one right here.
Joker built his Tall bike from an old cruiser frame, some pipes, rope, and a dickload of tape. The man is an artisan.
The only thing that most tall bikes have in common is that they start out with a bike frame turned upside down. This frame is used for the rear wheel and drivetrain, but anything stacked on top of that is up to the mad scientist building it.
I must admit this bike is challenging to mount, but once it gets going it’s a lot like any other bike except way more fun. The breeze up here is awesome.
Some cities, including fort lauderdale, deploy police officers on horseback. They say it gives them a better vantage point to monitor their surroundings. I say, they could save a lot of money by getting tall bikes. They cost way less, they’re odorless, and as far as I know they never shit in the street.
