Karnataka Govt. asks officials to use cabs as to adopt austerity measures to cut expenses

After K'taka CM HD kUmarawsamy announced his govt's plan to adopt austerity measures to cut expenses. Now the state transport department is mulling to take up services of cab aggregators for day to day usage of govt offcials. The transport secretary has already asked the department to study the pros & cons of availing the services of cab aggregators & the amount that can be save from this measure. After getting the report the govt is expected to negotiate with these companies. Reportedly there are around 5000 vehicles hired through outsourcing each month for govt employess for which the govt spends a whopping 100 cr per annum.
