A police officer came to the rescue of a baby deer who was trapped between the slats of a picket fence.
According to OregonLive.com, a passerby walking with her kids in Eugene, Oregon noticed the stuck deer and called police.
Animal Welfare Officer Shawni McLaughlin responded to the scene to rescue the fawn.
Video shows McLaughlin placing a towel around the deer’s head to keep the animal calm.
The deer appeared to not be seriously injured as she scampered away shortly after being resued.
