Parts of the Hawaiian island of Kauai remained flooded on August 28 as authorities reissued a weather warning.

This video, shared by Samuel Shaw, shows Hanapepe River on Awawa Road flooded at around 1 pm.

Heavy rains poured on already-flooded areas in the early morning, prompting authorities to evacuate more than 20 homes in Koloa as stream levels rose in the area. Schools were also closed due to waterlogged roads and highways blocking main transport routes.
