Helicopter picks up water to fight Holy Fire flare-up in Cleveland National Forest

Firefighters responded to renewed fire activity in the Holy Fire burn area on Monday, August 27.

Video from a stationary camera atop Santiago Peak near Trabuco Canyon showed active flames and massive plumes of smoke shortly after 10 am. The flare-up comes after the 22,885-acre Holy Fire was officially 91 percent contained, local media reported.

The new blaze was estimated at 150 acres. There were no reports of injuries or structural damage.
