Janet Jackson to Receive Honor at 'Black Girls Rock' The annual show, 'Black Girls Rock,'
will be hosted by Queen Latifah this
Sunday and will air on Sep. 9 on BET. Janet Jackson is set to receive
the Phenomenal Woman in Music award. Janet will add this award to her 1990 MTV Video Vanguard award, an 'Icon' award from BET and 'Billboard' and numerous Grammys. Other honorees of the night
will include Mary J. Blige, who
will receive the Star Power award, Naomi Campbell, who will
receive the Black Girl Magic award, and dancer/choreographer
Judith Jamison, who will receive
the Living Legend award.
