Kerala relief operation update; 17 satellites including spying ones used

The flood situation in Kerala has taken a turn for the worse, as the state struggled to cope with it. The death toll has risen to 40, the centre intervened yesterday and announced an additional relief package of Rs 100 crore. The Kerala govt put the total loss from floods at Rs 8,316 crores. Thousands of people have been rescued and now find shelter at relief camps.
