Several parts of India have been badly hit by floods. From Kerala to Karnataka, all the regions have received enormous downpours. Torrential rains, gusty winds, and landslips left a trail of destruction and disrupted train and road transport services. Airport infrastructure was damaged in the floods, with an estimated loss of Rs 220-250 crore.
