The death toll in Kerala floods has gone up to 37 now. The flood situation is now improving with water levels receding in most areas. Around 59 people have been rescued from Munnar. The NDRF and other rescue teams are continuing the rescue operations in the affected regions. Earlier, CM Pinayari Vijayan took stock of the flood situation and announced compensation for the victims. Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department has issued warning and red alert to Idduki & Wayanad till August 14.
