Watch jaw-dropping footage of a 747 supertanker’s air attack on the Holy Fire

A 747 supertanker dropped a long line of retardant on the Holy Fire as firefighters continued to battle the 4,100-acre blaze in the Cleveland National Forest in Southern California on August 8.

“As the fire seemed to near the top of the backside of this ridge, the 747 came in and dropped a retardant line on the front side of the mountain in an effort to successfully prevent the fire from spreading to the range in the foreground,” the filmer said.
