Jamal: Gov't cruel to ban smoking in prison

Sg. Besar Umno Division Chief Jamal Md Yunos shared stories from his 27 days behind bars while calling for reforms to the prison system.
One of his calls was for the federal government to grant detainees access to tobacco in order to overcome the illicit trade and smuggling that often involves swallowing plastic bags of product to get past prison security.
He was speaking on the campaign trail for the Sg. Kandis by-elections last night where he endorsed the Umno candidate for the seat Lokman Noor Adam.
