Mahashiv colony in Moradabad is facing acute water logging after a 20-ft-deep nullah broke nearby following heavy rains. The locals have resorted to using boats to commute. The local MLA Ritesh Gupta said he wrote to authorities to no avail. He said he has spoken to the Moradabad commissioner to get help for people and drain the water, as soon as the rains stop. The locals are facing great difficulties in going about their daily lives, the schools have been shut and residents don't know when the water will be drained and they can continue with their routine lives.
