Two cars and an auto were stuck after flood took over road in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani. After sensing the danger of heavy flow, passengers escaped in nick of time before car washed away. The second car was also washed away later. Uttarakhand's weather department also issued a heavy rain alert for the state. The state's disaster management authority further instructed district magistrates to be prepared with relief operations in case of accidents. Over 100 link roads in Uttarakhand are blocked on due to heavy rains that lashed the state.
