Germany Says U.S.-Europe Trade Tensions Ease, Questions Remain On Soy

According to Reuters on Saturday, German Agriculture Minister Julia Kloeckner said that the trade relationship between the United States and Europe is improving. She added that there is no guarantee the bloc will buy the quantity of soybeans that Washington expects. After talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Jean-Claude Juncker, Trump highlighted benefits for U.S. farmers. He told reporters “The European Union is going to start, almost immediately, to buy a lot of soybeans."
