The fifth China-Africa people's forum has opened in Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan province. The forum's three principles include promoting cooperation, enhancing friendship between citizens of China and Africa, and furthering world peace. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message on the opening of the forum and extended his welcome to the leaders of African countries. Isaura Diez brings us the latest from Beijing.
