Diego Maradona was warmly welcomed to Belarus as he starts his new job as chairman of Belarussian side Dynamo Brest. Stepping off the plane in the city, in the country's south-west, the Argentine legend was gifted with bread and a pair of watches. He also signed a fan's football before nearly dropping it from the inside of his car. "I am here for the pictures," Maradona told reporters. "I'll see you at the press conference." Maradona starts the job after leaving his position as head coach of United Arab Emirates second division side Al Fujairah in April. He failed to gain promotion with the team. His strange behaviour also caused controversy at the World Cup, where he was treated after having been captured struggling to walk after Argentina's fixture with Nigeria.
