Pakistan in global terror funding list; cornered for financially aiding terrorism

Global ant-financing watchdog, the financial action task force has decided to keep Pakistan on its 'grey list'. At the FATF talks in Paris, a delegation led by Pakistani Interim Minister for Finance, Dr Shamshad Akhtar appraised the watchdog of the steps taken by Pakistan to stem money laundering and terror financing. Despite his argument, the watch dog took this decision during a plenary meeting in Paris, stating that Pakistan had failed to act against terror financing and money laundering on its soil.
