Rob Mello 'Hot Poke'

Everything about this record says happiness. The title track is an upbeat and, dare we say it, Balearic little number built with skippy percussion, perky rhythm guitar riffs and vibey synth lines, complimented nicely by the stripped back 'Happy Beats'. 'Hot Poke' meanwhile is more retro and funk flavoured with some sultry female groans and a deep down low-slung groove.
