With less than two weeks left, fans have started the countdown to the World Cup in Russia. But another football World Cup has already kicked off on May 31- in London. The CONIFA World Football Cup is an alternative world championship for those nations, minorities, isolated dependencies and cultural regions who have been sidelined by the official recognition. Organised bythe non-profit Confederation of Independent Football Associations, 16 teams are participating in this 10-day tournament. It sees the likes of Tibet and Northern Cyprus mix with southwestern Zimbabwe's Matabeleland, and the Abkhazia breakaway region of Georgia. Watch the video.
