The Portuguese national football team held an open training session in front of the team's supporters in Marcoussis, south of Paris on Thursday, ahead of their knockout stage match against Croatia.

Around 170 children, in addition to dozens of members of the Portuguese community who live in France, attended the training session of the Portuguese football team.

Portugal's stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani did not participate in the group practice, but came out onto the pitch to greet the public before continuing a recovery training session inside the venue.

On Wednesday Portugal managed to end a thriller match against Hungary, which became their last group stage fixture in the tournament, with a 3-3 draw. With three straight draws and three points gained, Fernando Santos' squad managed to pass into the final 16, where they will face Croatia on Saturday, June 25, in Lens.
