Goalkeeper Joe Hart Says England Are 'Ready To Go' At Euro 2016

Joe Hart on Thursday (9th June) said that he and the rest of the squad were hoping to enjoy the Euro 2016 experience ahead of their Group B opener against Russia this weekend.

As England prepare for their opening Euro 2016 group game against Russia, goalkeeper Joe Hart says he wants to enjoy experience of playing international football in France.

Hart was England's first-choice goalkeeper in each of the last two major tournaments at Euro 2012 and at the World Cup two years ago.

And with little success in each of those finals he now claims he is determined to enjoy the experience rather than feel the pressure to perform.

The Manchester City goalkeeper also backed England's new look defence ahead of the Russia meeting in Marseille.

Following the Russia game England will then meet Wales in Lens on 15th June, before facing Slovakia in Saint-Etienne on 19th June.
