Bungling robber tries to hold up toy shop with her face covered with plastic bag
  • 5 years ago
Lesley Farrell, 47, made the barmy decision to disguise herself with the carrier bag instead of a mask when she smashed into a Smyths toy store on January 30. Farrell and her accomplice Darren Palmer, 41, tried to steal games consoles for drug money after they targeted the shop in Longbridge, Birmingham. But a court heard "greed was their undoing" as they could not carry all of their bounty and were easily detained by security staff. The blundering pair previously admitted burglary and were both jailed for 18 months at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday (Tue).
