Bungling robber hits shop worker with gun but flees empty handed

This is the chilling moment a female shop worker starred down the barrel of a sawn-off shotgun before being smashed in the face with the firearm during a terrifying armed robbery. Disturbing CCTV footage shows the young cashier freezing on the spot as the hooded gunman casually walks into the Co-op store and points the weapon inches from her face.
