Accountant's Lawn Named Best In Britain Despite Him Not Getting His Fingers Dirty
  • 5 years ago
A proud home-owner awarded 'Britain's Best Lawn' accolade has admitted that all the hardwork was done - by his gardener. Accountant Keith Chuck, 58, scooped the prestigious accolade at his third attempt after judges were wowed by his stunning, perfectly-manicured lawns. But after accepting the prize, Keith confessed he only managed to win thanks to the hard work of his gardener Danny Hibbert, 35, who he retains to look after his lawns. Keith helped lay the lawn but admitted it is Danny who maintains it, often visiting every day in the summer to give it a mow at a cost of around £2,000 a year. He said he had dreamed of having the perfect lawn ever since he moved into his house eight years ago. But after two failed attempts at winning the Best Lawn title he teamed up with Danny to create the perfect lawn.
