Motorists had a lucky escape after an entire bridge COLLAPSED into a river without warning yesterday afternoon (Tue). The Grade II listed Eastham Bridge in Tenbury Wells, Worcs., was reduced to rubble after it dramatically crumbled into the River Teme at 3.30pm. Emergency services attended the scene but there were no reports of any injuries at what is a busy commuter route through the picturesque market town. Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service tweeted a shocking picture of the incident showing the two roads completely cut off from each other.
