Ansar Malik, 43, was awoken in the middle of the night to his Audi A4 alarm going off outside his home, only to find his vehicle written-off and stranded 40 feet down the road.
After seeing CCTV footage of what happened, he was stunned to see the driver and passenger of the Mercedes fleeing the scene after crashing at speeds of up to 70mph.
