A green-fingered builder has turned his drab inner-city back garden into a tropical paradise filled with thousands of pounds of ferns – in CENTRAL LONDON. The gorgeous greenery in his back and front gardens has transformed Patrick de Nangle’s home into a peaceful oasis, with huge ferns towering up to 16 feet above the lush green ground – covered in clover rather than grass. Grower Patrick has spends a couple of days every week cultivating his beautiful garden, nestled behind his terraced home in Camberwell, London. Each of the massive tree ferns blooms is so expensive that they are protected by state-of-the-art CCTV security systems, in a bid to foil any attempt by thieves.
