Ill son treats dad to Fathers Day race track treat
  • 5 years ago
A dad had the best Fathers Day ever after his seriously ill son was told by a charity he could have one wish - and selflessly chose a racing track treat for his dad. Little Rhys Evans, eight, was born with a heart defect and has endured two life-saving operations and countless hospital admissions in his short life. He was told he could have one wish granted by charity Rays of Sunshine to cheer him up after his latest open-heart surgery in February. But instead of choosing a kick-about with his favourite footballer or a meet-and-greet with a popstar, the adorable lad chose a Silverstone racing day for his dad Darryl, 33.
