An ambulance crew had a lucky escape after their vehicle overturned on its way to an emergency call. The crew was on its way to a nursing home where a resident had fallen unconscious when the smash happened on the A449 Penn Road. The ambulance is thought to have hit a tree before ending up on its side near to the Mount Pub.
