Photograph sent into space

This may be one small snap for a man, but it has taken a giant leap into astronomy fanatic Ian Sheffield's photo album -- after he managed to get a picture of himself taken in SPACE. Astronut Ian, 66, arranged for a photo of himself to go on a 56-million mile round trip to the International Space Station and the result is out of this world. As proof of the trip, a Russian astronaut propped up his picture in the window of the space station with a spectacular view of the Earth below. Ian, who is a grandfather-of-three from Haddington, East Lothian, said: "I couldn't afford the £15 million fare to go myself, so I thought 'why not send a substitute?'
