First Lady Melania Trump has been the subject of a great deal of speculation due to the fact that she hasn’t been seen in public for weeks.

Since her kidney procedure earlier this month, first lady Melania Trump has been the subject of a great deal of chatter due to the fact that she hasn't been seen in public for many days.  In response to the speculation, she posted a tweet on Wednesday.
"I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing. Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!" Trump tweeted.  In the first lady's absence from the public eye, a number of conspiracy theories have flourished, reports Politico.  They include her having moved back to New York, cooperating with the Mueller investigation, and hanging out with the Obamas while she writes a book overflowing with information her husband would rather not reveal.
First lady's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham is quoted by CNN as saying, "Sadly, we deal with conspiracy theories all the time -- so this is nothing new, just more silly nonsense." Trump's communications office had also issued a statement about her procedure on May 14.
"First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications," the statement noted. "Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere."
CBS News reported that she returned to the White House on May 19.
