U.S. To Add 15,000 Seasonal Non-Farm Worker Visas
  • 6 years ago
The Trump administration will add 15,000 H-2B visas, meant for temporary non-agricultural workers, for this fiscal year. The Department of Homeland Security announced this in a statement on Friday, May 25. The U.S. government had already issued 66,000 such visas this year, but businesses had complained that they didn't have enough visas to operate. DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said the original limitations were put in place to "protect American workers."
