Two suspects have been detained in connection with the shooting death of Telescope businessman, Cainisaac Edwards. While our sources cannot confirm whether or not they will be charged, we understand that they are being interrogated.
Relatives of the homicide victim are in disbelief after his murder Saturday. The 36-year-old businessman was shot at close range in Telescope by a lone gunman and later pronounced dead at the Princess Alice Hospital. The incident occurred about 2:30am on Sunday.
Edwards was a popular figure in his community; relatives and other residents are perplexed as to why anyone would want to harm him.
