The House That Jack Built | A film that shooed 100 people away at Cannes
  • 6 years ago
Standing ovations at Cannes screenings are pretty common. But how about a 100 people walking out of a screening? That’s right we are talking about Director Lars Von Trier’s latest serial killer movie The House That Jack Built, that provoked mass walkouts at Cannes. The story follows Jack, a serial killer, over the course of 12 years in the 1970s and 1980s in the U.S. state of Washington. It stars Matt Dillon, Uma Thurman and Bruno Granz. But what could possibly go wrong with a plot and cast like that?
