Residents Blame Tech Firms For San Francisco's Woeful State

San Francisco is in deep crisis, and residents want the next mayor to do something about it.
The city by the bay is home to 1.23% of all America's homeless people.
Rents are astronomical. Uber and Lyft cars jam the roads. Streets are filthy.
Many blame tech companies for widening the income gap and driving up prices.
But mayoral candidates are loathe to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Instead, most say they want "partnership" with tech firms to improve city life.
